Emergency Reminder:
“Which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves; for a friend of mine has come to me on his journey, and I have nothing to set before him’; and he will answer from within and say, ‘Do not trouble me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give to you’? I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs.
So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
Luke 11:5-13, NKJV
Keep praying – Never give up!

I have to agree completely. I think this is good timing since I recently added a page on my blog about my experience with an answer to prayer. I don’t want to take anything away from your post since I believe you put it very well so I will leave it at that, but I did want to agree with you. We need to remember that answers don’t come in our time, but they come in God’s time, and his timing is always perfect. He knows our hearts and if we ask in faith, and not with selfish desires, he will give us what we need.

Be careful what you ask for you will get it. I remember one of them all in my bible studies my mother told me all the time. “We ask God for wisdom, he sends us problems the solution of which develops wisdom.” I try not to be wise but it always just seems to happen with me. I guess my friend was right. I am just not buildt to be bored.

Right 🙂 We had an old, wise mother that used to tell us never pray for patience because then things will come you way that will work your nerves until you learn to be patient (paraphrasing). Nevertheless, I believe in the power of prayer. It works! Thanks for stopping by 🙂 Have a very blessed day!!!
