Dear Friends and Readers,
Many of you may be wondering where is the Sunday School lesson or why you haven’t been receiving posts and updates in your feed or emails. Here it is, last week I fell really ill with a really nasty stomach virus where I couldn’t keep anything down for a couple of days (not even water) and it got progressively worse until I ended up being ambulanced from an urgent care facility where I sought treatment to the hospital where I had to spend a couple of days. My sodium and potassium levels were low and I had to receive IV fluids to rehydrate my body and medicines to help stop me from being sick again and to bring my levels back up. Yesterday (Wednesday), afternoon I was cleared for discharge and was finally able to go home. Hooray!
I am doing fine now although I have not yet regained all my energy and such, and am still taking it easy for a bit. I am still taking one prescription supplement to continue to help bring my potassium levels back up to where they need to be for me to get back to one hundred percent.
As I am regaining my strength I do solicit your prayers. It wasn’t easy (and it could always be worse), but God is still good and He brought me through and I am ever so grateful for His goodness and mercy in my life.
Our Sunday School lesson this week focuses on “Praying for One Another” and this is so important because we never know what our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ may be going through and when we lift one another up in prayer we are sharing the battle with them. We really are one spiritual family in Christ Jesus. And, while I don’t have a prepared lesson this week due to my illness, you will find lesson helps and activities from previous lesson such as “Pray One for Another” and “4 Keys to Powerful Prayer” that could help to enhance your preparation of this week’s lesson.
I am really looking forward to everything getting back to normal or better, in the meantime, I thank God for the opportunity to meet each of you here every week and I give Him all the praise and glory and honor for every blessing and miracle performed in my life. Every day God is great and greatly to be praised!
Until next time . . .
Blessings to each and every one of you!
