“Relationship With The Word!”

In a many of dark times, the Word is what shines a light brighter than any sun.  In the Word we find comfort, solace and peace no matter the prisons that try to hold us. We need the WORD!

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path,” Psalm 119:105, NKJV

“And so Betsie and I arrived in Barracks 8 in the small hours of that morning,  brining not only the Bible, but a new knowledge of the power of Him whose story it was,”Corrie Ten Boom, The Hiding Place, p. 214, Hendrickson Publishers, Copyright 1971, 1984, 2006.

The Hiding Place has been my favorite non-fiction books for years.  I am always amazed by the lives of Corrie and her family and the circumstances that God used in and through them.

The above quote was written after Betsie and Corrie were able to smuggle a Bible in one of the concentration camps.  The Bible could obviously be seen through her clothing, yet she was inspected and patted down like the rest before and after her.  She risked everything…

“Whatever you find to do with your hands, do it with all your might, because there is neither work nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom in the grave, the place where you will eventually go. ” Ecclesiastes 9:10, NET

We have only one life to live.

Live it with the passion for seeing change and for impacting others for good.

Live it with zeal in the power of His strength leading and guiding the way.

Live it with excellence for God who made you the head and not the tail (Deut. 28:13).

“Let Your Voice Be Heard!”

God has blessed us with a voice.  No matter the medium we use to get our words out; get them out!

I am not one to post too many videos but this is one that I found extremely inspiring. I hope you will enjoy it.

In case someone has lied to you or your circumstances make believe that you have no voice – this video is for you.  It’s only 4:22 long.  Watch and be inspired today!  Blessings!

“Will I Be Worthy?”

Because of His grace, we are! Read this poem and be encouraged.

Will I be worthy

In that day

When the clouds part

Shining redemptive rays?

Will I be worthy

Before the Son

Rising with the saints

Together as one?

Will I be worthy

To gain a crown,

With robes of righteousness

As my dressing gown?

Will I be worthy

To bask in that glory

When the books are opened

Exposing my story?

Will I be worthy

To hear, “Well done,”

To enter for eternity

Where’s there’s no need for sun?

Will I be worthy?

The answer is, “No,”

If on my own accord

I try to go.

My own works

Can’t mark me as good,

But if on Christ’s sacrifice

I have stood;

My unworthy, sinful, scarlet state

Counts me as worthy, by His grace.
