“Heaviness Can’t Stay!”

heaviness can't stay - my pic

“For his anger endureth but a moment; in his
favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but
joy cometh in the morning.” Psalm 30:5

Heaviness can’t stay. As sure as the sun rises in
the morning to herald a new day, so too does my
Savior bring newness and joy to my life.

Heaviness can’t stay. It’s not welcome in the
grace of today. Today was given as a gift to
enjoy, not as a moment to lament over.

Heaviness can’t stay. For where freedom is,
there resides His light, peace, and true happiness
(John 8:36).

The transformation of everything within me
speaks that because we are present, because
we are alive and breathing, my heart will rejoice.
Adverse circumstances may try to paint a
different picture for you today, but because of
God in my life, heaviness can’t stay!

“No Worries!”

No worries! If God is caring for the birds, the grass, and the other elements of nature, won’t He take care of you?

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” – Matthew 6:25-27

“Whom shall I fear?”

Today, wherever my feet take me, Lord, You be my guide. With You surrounding me, leading me, and strengthening me, “Whom shall I fear”?

“Work what God gave you!”

WORK WHAT GOD GAVE YOU! “Through hard work, perseverance and a faith in God, you can live your dreams.” – (Benjamin Carson) God wants us to put our hand to the plow, keeping moving forward in our work that He might bring us to a place of blessings. “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.” (Proverbs 22:29)
