“Don’t Romanticize Life!”

Refuse to Be Moved

Friends refused to be moved. Refuse to allow the tempestuous seas of life to toss you about. Refuse the swaying of this way and that, but make a stand to stay. Stay in the realm of your faith. Stay on this holy course of action. Stay where your hope is sure and secured. Stay anchored in the care and belief of who Jesus Christ is in your life. Though some days may seem overwhelming and the tug of life gets hard, blessed are the ones who know “We might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast…” (Hebrews 6:18b-19a).

Exchange

Friend, isn’t it encouraging to know that no dismal state, regardless of how low the clouds may hang or how much shade is cast over one, who we are or were, through Christ, is made totally new. The grace of His love and sacrifice given to us is a picture so wonderful, who would not want to turn to Him and receive this great exchange? For He will “Give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified” (Isaiah 61:3).

Pray, Pray, and Pray Some More | A 1 Minute Word of Encouragement

Thank You, God, that You have given us this position of prayer, this place of power where we can not only lay our burdens down but also intercede for others in our lives. We can pray for the unsaved status of souls, petition heaven for healing or hurts, and seek answers for the help we need. A place where God, our Heavenly Father, has given us permission to come and unload it all before His holy throne.

When we fall on our knees, we fall before the only true King of all eternity. In that place, we open our hearts and pray.

Therefore, don’t stop. Pray, pray, and pray some more. Never give up. God hears and is attentive to the praying heart of His children: “𝓑𝓾𝓽 𝓿𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓵𝔂 𝓖𝓸𝓭 𝓱𝓪𝓽𝓱 𝓱𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓭 𝓶𝓮; 𝓱𝓮 𝓱𝓪𝓽𝓱 𝓪𝓽𝓽𝓮𝓷𝓭𝓮𝓭 𝓽𝓸 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓿𝓸𝓲𝓬𝓮 𝓸𝓯 𝓶𝔂 𝓹𝓻𝓪𝔂𝓮𝓻. 𝓑𝓵𝓮𝓼𝓼𝓮𝓭 𝓫𝓮 𝓖𝓸𝓭, 𝔀𝓱𝓲𝓬𝓱 𝓱𝓪𝓽𝓱 𝓷𝓸𝓽 𝓽𝓾𝓻𝓷𝓮𝓭 𝓪𝔀𝓪𝔂 𝓶𝔂 𝓹𝓻𝓪𝔂𝓮𝓻, 𝓷𝓸𝓻 𝓱𝓲𝓼 𝓶𝓮𝓻𝓬𝔂 𝓯𝓻𝓸𝓶 𝓶𝓮.” 𝓟𝓼𝓪𝓵𝓶 66:19, 20

Inwardly Renewed! | Words to Live By

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” – 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, NIV

God is My Strength

This is where our focus lies today. Not in ourselves. Not in our abilities. Not in other people. God is my Strength, my Source, my Healer, my Redeemer. Go forth in His power today! “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.” Psalm 28:7

I am with you always . . .

“I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.” – Matthew 28:20

Father God, thank You that You have not left us alone. Thank You that you are always by our side. Thank You that Your power and anointing are persistently working on our behalf. Through the confusion and chaos of the days, it’s easy to become discouraged by what we see before us, yet Your promises are never failing. When life tries to sidetrack us, You are He that holds our hand through it all letting us know that You are in the midst of it with us. Thank You for Your abiding presence and help with this day and every day. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!

A One-of-a-Kind Treasure

In His heart, He saw a vision. That vision was you. In His hand, you were designed and created. You are unique and the only one who is beautifully you. A creation for His glory, you are a created masterpiece, and no worldly artist can capture the essence or create the image of all you were intended to be. God made you, you, a one-of-a-kind treasure in His hands. “Thy hands have made me and fashioned me . . .” Psalm 119:73
