The Power Within

Dear one, do you not know the magnitude of the power that resides within your very being? You, who are established in Christ Jesus, have not only become a born-again child of God. But today, you are carriers of the phenomenal, unexplainable, immeasurable power inside of you.

No matter how dim, gloomy, or bleak it may seem, we are NEVER alone.

We have a Strength that is beyond our human capabilities.
We have a Force fighting for us that cannot be reckoned with by human standards.
We have the one and only true God, and He is on our side!

Not only is He on our side, but He resides in us through the precious gift of the Holy Ghost!

May the resharing of this poem encourage your hearts today as you remember the Greater lives inside of you:

“Greater is He that is in me!
The life inside that I cannot see.
Only feel with the passion and the burn
Love from the cross that flows unearned.

Glowing embers, His spirit unfolds.
Power inside of stories untold!
Ripping away all the fear and frights;
Layering on His love’s holy light.

The life inside has been swept and cleaned
By the Master who defeats enemies unseen.
Foes tremble, their strength can’t compare,
‘Cause greater is He now resides there.”

You Are Special and Wonderfully Made

Yes, you, dear one, are special. You are made completely wonderful in the eyes of our God (Psalm 139:14). You are a unique creation. You are designer original. There is no one quite like you because you are specially made to be, well…, you.

So, to what others may think. When the Lord fashioned you, He knew your characteristics and the way you would think. Don’t hide them but celebrate those tidbits of you that make up you.

Perfection, according to others, you may not be, but God sees more in you than you could ever believe. Grab hold of that beautiful truth, my friend. Let it rest deep in your heart. Let it permeate the crevices of your mind. You are His. He created you. Before you were even a concept in the womb of your mother, before the new beginnings of life were imagined, God beautifully knew you (Jeremiah 1:5).

Whether you believe it or not, you are so indescribably special to the Father above. When He sat molding you, one can only imagine the time He took to make you perfectly the beautiful you that you are.

At the potter’s wheel, He framed your purpose. He built inside wonderful gifts. With much care and attention, He fashioned you.

Run with the thought of all you are to Him today. Let the truth of His perfect design for you prompt you to continue to move forth in faith to where He is calling you, because you are specially made for this.

Nothing about you was left to chance. You are here on purpose and with a purpose, especially designed for you. Can you see it? Can you awaken your heart to believe it?

The battering of this world can speak so harshly against God’s design. But designed you are, and as long as you have it in your heart to believe in the wonderful you He created you to be, you can take on this day and His will for your life in confidence without missing a beat.

Whatever comes your way, be reminded of the unique love the Father has for you, and lay to rest everything else that speaks contrary to His truth.

Divinely Marked

“And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.” Revelation 22:4

There is beauty to be found in all forms of artwork and creative expression. I remember as a child participating in all kinds of arts and crafts projects — one of my favorites was wood burning. Using a hot soldering iron, I would carefully etch a design into a smooth piece of wood. Once the image was marked, it stayed there permanently. It was a lasting reflection of something created with intention and care.

In a similar — yet far more powerful — way, when we are in Christ, there is a divine beauty in us that causes the Lord to mark us as His own. Revelation 22:4 says, “his name shall be in their foreheads.” This isn’t just a future reality — it’s a promise of ownership, belonging, and love.

Life can be challenging. In the middle of hard seasons, it’s easy to lose sight of what God sees in us. It’s easy to forget who we are and Whose we are. But one day, all uncertainty and confusion will fade. The truth of our identity in Christ will be made visible — and undeniable — to everyone.

Yet even today, if you are in Christ, this promise already belongs to you. Ephesians 1:13 reminds us: “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth…ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.” That seal is God’s eternal mark — a declaration that you are His. Right now, regardless of how others may see you, God sees you as forever His.

So live in the confidence of that promise. Don’t let the world define you by anything less.

Father God, thank you for the way You view me. Thank You for sealing me under the Holy Spirit of Your promise. Help me to remember who I am and Whose I am in the times when I may forget. Amen.
