Father God, thank You that You have not left us alone. Thank You that you are always by our side. Thank You that Your power and anointing are persistently working on our behalf. Through the confusion and chaos of the days, it’s easy to become discouraged by what we see before us, yet Your promises are never failing. When life tries to sidetrack us, You are He that holds our hand through it all letting us know that You are in the midst of it with us. Thank You for Your abiding presence and help with this day and every day. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!

Hold on to your hope . . .

Hold on to your hope and confidence in the Lord. I know, I know. They are words easier said than done some of the time, but it does not negate the truth of who God is in our lives. He is the One who knows all, sees all, and understands all. He is the One who knows our days better than we do. He knows the beginning from the end and every plan He has for us in between (Jeremiah 29:11).

Holding on may seem downright impossible at times. Holding on can be difficult when everything else around you is pulling for you to let go. Yet, in the end, for those who do hold on, for those who endure, for those who refuse to give in and give up, there is a wonderful reward from our Father who knows us best and loves us best. James tells us, “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him” (James 1:12).

Therefore, my friend, “Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD,” (Psalms 27:14). The crown, and so much more is ahead. Believe God. Believe that God loves you more than you could ever know and what He has in store for you . . . one can only imagine. Don’t focus on what you see today because it is only temporary but there is a glorious, eternal future as we move onward and upward toward our heavenly home (2 Corinthians 4:18).

Thank You, that You have included us in that grace and mercy we see today. Thank You, that You have destined us to be a part of Your purposes here on earth today. Thank You, that Your hand is not only designing us but it’s overshadowing us and protecting us, and leading us into Your perfect and holy will. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray, AMEN!
