People will count your story as out;
Done, finished without a doubt.
Sit you down, turn their backs;
Showing your deficiencies; where they see lack.
Overlooked, tossed to the side,
Crushed by the human eye of pride.
Thankfully, God doesn’t view you that way,
He looks deeper inside past the outer array.
Delving into the inner, the heart unknown,
Seeing so much more, a future to own.
Discrepancies and lack He doesn’t record;
Rather, grace and anointing has He thus poured.
He sees your story from a different view.
And it’s His opinion that rings the most true.
“For the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart,” I Samuel 16:7.

Somebody needed this reminder. God doesn’t see you like everyone else does. He looks past all the outer stuff to see the wonderful inside. Therefore, be you. Be your own kind of beautiful.
