We are so incredibly blessed! Not with great material possessions or new positions of honor, but with life. Every day we are living is a blessing from the Lord. Every day we breathe, no matter the outcome is a beautiful gift from God.
There is no deep thought here or great spiritual revelation, just a question, “How blessed are you?” One day I was sitting outside and just watching the trees blow lightly in the breeze. I was listening to one of my favorite sounds of summer, the locusts in the trees. I felt the warmth of the sun while watching the birds busy on the branch across from me. My mind asked me, “How blessed are you?” It’s kind of a rhetorical question because we are soooo blessed. Not with great material possessions or new positions of honor, but with life.
