“Who’s Holding You?”

There is so much hurt and disappointment in the world today. So many people’s hearts are crying out for relief. These verses were laid heavily on my heart to send out as a spiritual S.O.S. to someone somewhere. I have clung to these in my own times of personal trial and I hope they help you also.  Be encouraged that God Almighty, no matter what you are going through today, is holding you in the palm of His hands!

Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.  Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.  Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.  Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.  For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.” (Isaiah 41:9b-13).

GOD IS HOLDING YOU TODAY!

“My Redeemer Lives!”

When fear surrounds
and questions lurk
and doubt becomes
a prevalent force.
When troubles prevail
and night overtakes the day,
and times feel lost,
at the end of the course.

When hope slips, memories fade,
I grab hold to pull You near;
to hear what You have to say.
My Redeemer lives are the words I read,
the whispers that encourage –
the strength to stay.

Sitting in the ashes and dust.
Friends, miserable comforters
and in companions, no trust.
Alone and desolate,
vacant from a touch of love,
my eyes raise in prayer
seeking from Him that is above.

Back down on the pages
in Your Word, I read,
my Redeemer lives –
someone somewhere is thinking about me.
A revelation to encourage,
a truth to behold,
my Redeemer lives, there I am told.

Guess what, all hope is not lost!
though turbulent waves crash
and life feels tossed.

Shine down, O Savior, I pray,
and lift me from this dusty sorrow.
Let Your might, Your love, Your truth prevail
and bless my soul, O My Hope for tomorrow.

Dear Friends, even if things don’t look like they’re turning in your favor. Even if today doesn’t look better than yesterday. God, your Redeemer, is alive and in charge. Believe HIM through it all, no matter what it looks like right now! Just ask Job. Through it all, he declared, “For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth,” (Job 19:25).

“A Prayer for Today . . .”

My Project 442-001

Father God,

We don’t always understand why we have to hurt the way we do. We don’t always know the reason behind suffering, anguish and pain. But, Father, one thing we do know is You are sovereign. Every tear that we cry and every sorrow that pierces our heart, You know all about it. We struggle with the if’s, and’s and but’s, but You are He who knows the beginning from the end and the right now’s of this life. Even when we don’t fully comprehend it all, let us find our trust and our peace in You.

Please touch and bless the bereaved families everywhere on today. Comfort the brokenhearted and set the captives free. Cast off yokes of heaviness and let the hurting feel Your presence in the midst of the pain. Cover and protect Your people, O God, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen!

We Are Praying…

Father God,

In the name of Jesus Christ, we are praying against hopelessness and discouragement. We are praying for healing in lives that need restoration; that need to feel Your peace. We are praying for loved ones to find their way to You before it’s everlasting too late. We know that You are a God of deliverance and You can work out any situation and circumstance.

There is nothing too hard for you, O Lord. With that, we lay every burden and tear at Your feet. Even in the midst of pain and confusion we believe Your word that tells us, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him,” (1 Cor. 2:9). And Father God, we can’t wait to see the blessedness that You bring about after the storm. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen!
