Is Your Mind Like a Super-Center? | 5 Steps to Fix It

Image by Igor Ovsyannykov from Pixabay

Is your mind like a super-center, cluttered, with no real aim or focus and too many offerings for any given time?

Sometimes it is a pleasure for me to shop in a place with only one or two different offerings of any particular product.  By going to these stores, your decisions have been made simple.  It is going to be either this one or that one you will buy.  If you want to shop here, that’s it.  That is all the options you get.

It is quite the opposite experience shopping at a huge chain store or places that offer a little bit of everything under the sun.  And not only do they offer a little bit of everything, but they offer you a little bit of everything of everything to choose from.

Shopping here, I am bombarded with over twenty different offerings for one single product.  Do I get this one because it’s cheaper?  Or this one because the ingredients are more natural?  Do I get this one because it is a reliable brand that has been around since way before I was born?  Or this one because it has an international flair to it?  Do you see where I’m going with this?

I often wonder what it would be like to shop in those areas where you visit the farmers market for produce, the bakery for bread and possibly a little dessert on the side, the butcher for the perfect cut of meat, and so on.  They each have a specialty, a focus, something they have worked at, perfected, became knowledgeable about, and are now considered a professional.

Many of us have too much going on upstairs, and it is overwhelming.  There is no aim.  No focus.  No defined purpose with a whole lot of clutter.

A cluttered mind is a frazzled mind.  It is someone who is stressed out.  Someone who feels overburdened by the cares of this world and the questioning that comes with it, alongside all the particulars of life.  It can cause one who is trying to move forward to stagger with indecision in the choices they make.  Kind of like standing in front of twenty different brands of the same product, huh?

Taking all of that into consideration, how does this affect your relationship with God and your Christian growth?  Have you become so burdened down and overwhelmed that spiritually you feel stuck?  Are you so cluttered that you cannot see your way out?

When you find yourself in this position, what can you do about it?

1. Realize there is a problem. You know when you are being choked by the things around you.  You know within yourself when things have become too much for you and you need help.  A toothache can’t be healed unless you acknowledge it hurts in the first place.

Whatever is choking you, it is stopping you from bringing forth your best fruit.  Jesus told the parable of the sower and demonstrated the different types of grounds the seed falls on (read Luke 8:5-15).  In verse 14, He stated, “And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.”

All of us want to bear good fruit in our lives.  All of us want to see it grow to the point that it is not only helping us but others around to us.  That can’t happen by overlooking what is clearly causing a problem.

2. Acknowledge it’s getting in the way. Hebrews 12:1 says it like this: “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.”

There is so much to glean from this one verse but let’s just focus on the part of laying “every weight” aside.  Weights are hindrances.  Hindrances are blockades to where we want to go and what we are seeking to do.  You cannot run a race effectively if you become bogged down with other stuff.  Acknowledge it is getting in the way.

When Jesus told His disciples about His journey to the cross and Peter opposed the very thought, Jesus saw it not as sympathy, but as a hindrance to His purpose and treated that episode as such, saying, “Get thee behind me, Satan…” (read Matthew 16:21-23).

See the hindrances for what they are – opposers of your purpose and employ a “Get thee behind me” mentality.

3. Quiet your soul for divine direction. This activity may be the hardest step for some because quieting ourselves is not in our modern, rushed vocabulary.

Hush the noise.  The Divine wants to speak.  “Be still, and know that I am God,” (Psalm 46:10).  Focus on Him, and the clutter will clear.

Choose the one needful thing, a time to sit at the feet of Jesus and hear His word (Luke 10:38-42).  We have one main priority: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you,” (Matthew 6:33) – and everything we say and do in life fades under the umbrella of this.  “When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek,” (Psalm 27:8).

4. Refocus.  Your mind has probably been cluttered because your focus is off.  If you have ever held a camera to your eye, you quickly realize that to get a sharp image, the focus must be just right.  So, you adjust the lens until the object or person you want to take center-stage in the picture comes into proper focus.  Although many other objects may appear in the background, you keep adjusting until your main object stands out.

What is your objective for this day or this week?  How do you give it a center stage?  Or, better yet, how can refocusing help you clear away the clutter that has been hindering you thus far?

One way is, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you,” (1 Peter 5:7).  The clutter we face is usually because we are holding on to too many things.  Old things, bothersome things, unprofitable things, extra things that we don’t need to be carrying.  They are heavy.  They are baggage, and they weigh us down.  As you would that over-crowded closet, basement, or attic, maybe it’s time to purge some stuff so that you can focus on what really matters.  The unnecessary things you hold on to will keep you in a frazzled, cluttered state.  Let it go.  Release it to God and let His peace overshadow you (Philippians 4:6-7).

Another way to refocus is to realize all that you see before you today is not as important as where you are trying to go.  “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth,” (Colossians 3:2).  The here and now will not always be the here and now.  If our ultimate goal is to be heaven-bound, our lives and minds, and hearts should be ordered and directed in a way that reflects that.  Everything around us, all that we entangle ourselves in, will all pass away (1 John 2:17a), and yet, we spend copious amounts of our mental, emotional, and spiritual energy on it.  Go figure.

Additionally, the ultimate way to refocus ourselves is to keep God always in our view, always at the center, always as the main focus of your overall story.  “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.  Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength” (Isaiah 26:3, 4).  Saying that God is all we need is not a Christian-cliché.  It’s the truth.  And, when we give Him the proper place in our mind, heart, soul, and with all our strength (Matthew 22:36) everything else must fall in line and take a back seat.  All that cluttered mess is not allowed to do the driving in my life, for my life is being driven and directed by God and His purposes for me.

5. With God’s direction, move forward productively. Forward is the way to go.  A cluttered mind tends to keep dwelling on the past, prohibiting progression but, in Christ, we must take the same stand the Apostle Paul did when he declared, “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:13, 14).

Our direction is forward.  Continually looking back stunts our spiritual growth (compare Luke 9:62).  And, as we are moving forward, we don’t do so on our own.  We need wisdom.  We need divine direction (which is why it is so imperative for us to quiet ourselves before the Lord).  The Bible instructs us, “Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil,” (Proverbs 3:7).  We are not omniscient (all-knowing); therefore, we need direction from He who is.

Pray for God’s leading and guidance for your life.  Invite Him in the everyday decisions and choices.  One thing is for sure, with all that He deals with, God is never overwhelmed or cluttered in His thinking.  He is perfect and does all things perfectly.  God has precision thinking with determined purposes that we may never fully understand.  But one thing we can understand is through it all, He is here for us.  And He never designed us to be these over-frazzled creatures, constantly over-whelmed and stressed out by our everyday affairs.

My prayer is that something in this article resonates with you or is helpful to you in getting rid of a super-center, cluttered mindset.  Many blessings to you as you begin your journey of decluttering what’s within.

Living for God!

“…we will walk in the name of the Lord our God for ever and ever.” Micah 4:5

Is it God whom we are living for daily?  Daily have we laid ourselves down to lift His name?  We, who are carriers of the name of the LORD our God and our Lord Jesus Christ, do we operate our lives in a way that is befitting that holy Name?  Is our living bringing honor to His name?

Those of the world have no problem attaching themselves to the ways of the world.  Is our life bearing fruit that is evident of our holy attachment?  Have we truly set ourselves apart as His people?

Living for God means it is His ways and not my own I seek to fulfill in my life.  My honor is to bring Him honor.  My glory is to glorify Him in my thinking, my being, my doing, and my speaking.

How great You are, O God, and let me greatly praise Your name through this life You have privileged me to live.

Everyone and everything of the world will eventually pass away and be nothing.  But, for those who live for God, “We will walk in the name of the Lord our God for ever and ever” (Micah 4:5).

“For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.” – Romans 14:8

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” – Matthew 22:37

“For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.” – Acts 17:28

“…choose you this day whom ye will serve… but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” – Joshua 24:15

“And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again” (2 Corinthians 5:15).  Jesus died for us that we may live for Him.

In the will of God

“But the Lord sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.” Jonah 1:4

Are the winds blowing?  Has a tempest howled at your door?  Do you feel like your ship is bring broken and your world falling apart?

Have you stayed the course?  Have you allowed your sails to be set in another direction from His calling?  Have you gotten on board with a plan that is not God’s best plan for your life?

There is only one solution.  Reunite yourself with God’s will for your life.  Step back onto the path He has chosen for you to walk.  It may not always be easy, and the way may be unclear to us, but when we are where God want us to be, doing what God wants us to do, we are in the best place possible.

Following, when we don’t know all the specifics, is not always easy but the Bible encourages us to “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (Proverbs 3:5,6).  But you must be willing to go where He directs.

Jonah fled and when his plan began to break around him, he ended up in the belly of a great fish (Jonah 1:17).  If your plan is breaking apart, make sure your plan is falling in line with God’s plan for your life.

God’s ways are perfect and right.  He wants to see a good end come from even the worst of circumstances (Jeremiah 29:11).  But we can never see the fulfilling of it if we are determined to board our own boat and go our own way.

In the will of God is where we’ll find safety and refuge.  In the will of God is where His best plan for us becomes the best part of our story.

Psalm 32:8 “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”  God will instruct you in the best way to go.

Psalm 37:4 “Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”  When we delight in God’s will, God delights in us.

Proverbs 19:21 “There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.”  It is God’s will that will always stand.  Don’t fight it.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”  God knows how to get to the best ending out of your life.

Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”  Seek God’s kingdom/His will first and everything else will fall into place.

John 7:17 “If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.”  Those who truly seek after His will, will know His will.  God doesn’t play hide and seek with His people.

Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”  Following God’s will, even when we don’t understand, will always work out according to His purpose.

Father God, I don’t pretend to know everything.  The things that are happening and the things I don’t understand may perplex me, but nothing is out of the reach of Your Sovereign hand.  Thank You, for Your faithfulness in my life.  Thank You, for the daily new mercies.  Thank You, that You have not given up on me, rather daily, You help me in the way I should go.  Forgive me for the times when I went the wrong way.  Help me to stay where You want me to stay and do what You want me to do.  In the name of Jesus Christ, AMEN.

If you have found yourself out of the will of God, use today to start again.  Today can be a day of renewal for you.  Today, you can have a fresh start.

“When my soul fainted within me I remembered the Lord: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.

They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.

But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord.” Jonah 2:7-9

God: The Main Character

Photo by Joshimer Biu00f1as on Pexels.com

Reading through the pages of the Bible, therein it tells the best story ever known to man.  One of love and forgiveness.  One of hurt and healing.  One of ultimate redemption that was strong enough to secure love forever.

As with any good story, there is the main character.  The one who takes the forefront of the overall picture.  The one, who, even if they are not mentioned by name during a particular episode, is still seen in the spirit of or behind the scenes of the whole story.

The Bible is the truest story of them all.  Be careful when reading it that you do not categorize it as just another good read even though, yes, it’s good.  When going through its pages, please do not view it simply as an ancient text, historical matter, or worse, a fictitious fable.  The Bible is the most real book one could ever read, and the story that lives in its pages is just as relevant today as it was when it was being lived, experienced, and penned.

The Bible is the only living book there is whose words are ever planting themselves in your life and revealing things about your life if you let it.

Photo by Tima Miroshnichenko on Pexels.com

And, just like any good story you read (again, we are to remember the realness of the Bible, and we are not to take it as a mere story), there is the main character.

Although many lives are revealed in its pages, and many stories are shared, the main character is there, in every story, on every page, revealing Himself in every one.

The main character of the Bible is, of course, God Himself (and I even hesitate to categorize Him in such life because His ultimate holiness demands so much more).

From the beginning to the end of its writing, God is there in every story.  The Bible is all about Him.  His creation.  His love.  His forgiveness.  His plan of salvation for humanity.  His heavenly abode.  His, everything!

In the very first chapter alone, God is mentioned by name thirty-one times.  In every page and every historical tale from there until the end, God is present in the pages even when you don’t see Him mentioned by name, for “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” (2 Timothy 3:16).

So, why is it important to understand God as the main character of the Bible?  The answer is, many approach the reading of the Bible as just another book (which, as I stated earlier, clearly it’s not).

Everything written in the Bible is serious business.  The Bible is a Holy Book.  The main character, our God, is a holy God (1 Peter 1:16), and that is not to be taken lightly.  One must recognize that when they are opening those pages to read or study, they are opening to read about His will and His plan for all of humanity, not just a select few.

We must reverence God as we read through those pages.  We must never haphazardly approach those pages.  All of history written within, from the “In the beginning…” (Genesis 1:1) to the final “Amen” (Revelation 22:21), is His story.

And His story is beautiful if you treat it as the treasure it truly is – if you treat Him as the treasure He is.  Your life will be so much better when you get to know the main character, when you get to, intimately and personally, know God for yourself.

Read His story.  See Him in the pages.  As your eyes read over the words written on that paper, let them come alive in your life.  Hear what He has to say to you amid it all.

Do you know the main character of the Bible?  Read His story, be inspired, and let His words change your life.

“And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The Lord, he is the God; the Lord, he is the God.” – 1 Kings 18:39

“For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.” – Psalm 95:3

“But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king…” – Jeremiah 10:10

“And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth” (Revelation 19:6), and I say with them, Hallelujah!  For the Lord God reigns!  The main character of the Bible reigns forever and ever.  Get to know Him for yourself.  Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

“Will I Be Worthy?”

Will I be worthy - pagemodo pic

Will I be worthy

in that day

when the clouds part

shining redemptive rays?

Will I be worthy

before the Son

rising with the saints

together as one?

Will I be worthy

to gain a crown,

with robes of righteousness

as my dressing gown?

Will I be worthy

to bask in that glory

when the books are opened

exposing my story?

Will I be worthy

to hear, “Well done;”

to enter for eternity

where’s there’s no need for sun?

Will I be worthy?

The answer is, “No,”

if on my own accord

I try to go.

My own works cannot mark me as good,

but if on Christ’s sacrifice I have stood;

my unworthy, sinful, scarlet state

counts me as worthy, by His grace.

“But ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus,

and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6:11

“Your Hearts Shall Live!”

your hearts shall live - pagemodo pic

“And you who seek God, your hearts shall live,” Psalm 69:32

How many go through their day complacent in the status quo?  No passion for life.  No zeal for better.  Just run the ordinary course of the ordinary life jogger, following the crowd, content with a heart that’s just beating but not alive.

A heart that is alive thrills at the unknown.  A heart that is alive craves to pump its life source throughout every crevice of its being.  Those who seek for God are not content with just the rhythmic beat of every other man.  It wants to thump against the chest wall to express the life that lives in it.

When one seeks God it stirs up something on the inside of them.  It stirs a wanting of more.  Kind of like a first love.  You seek to be near that person or to simply hear their voice.  When contact is made it makes the heart beat a little faster and you feel alive!  God promises those that look for Him with that same passion your hearts shall live.  Your heart will tell a story all its own about the love that dwells in it for the one you seek.

Jesus said, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly,” (John 10:10).  He wants hearts alive; hearts that live for seeking Him more and more.  From that they will reap not the status quo rather an abundance of life that flows from Him.  If the beat of your heart is a little slower these days, or your faith is not getting as excited as it used at the first, check to see who or what you have been seeking after.  It may be that you have been looking for love, acceptance and passion everywhere but the right place.  But, we have this promise, “you who seek God, your hearts shall live!”

Your Heart Wants God

apple-570965_1920

Many hearts walking around today want God.  Feeling void without Him, they fill it with things they think can satisfy the longing deep within.

More and more, the search goes on to try this and that to fill the place only God can fill.  Attempt after attempt is made to try something, anything, that will occupy the space called your heart.

Friend, this is where God wants to be.  Successes, things, and even people will never be able to do for you what God can do.  All the things we try to put in place and accept into that sacred space of our hearts, outside of Him, will never last, will never fill, and will never bring you to the peace you are truly seeking.

Your heart wants God.  Your heart will never be happy with anything or anyone else. You may not completely understand how it all works, what it all means, or what this is all supposed to look like, but your heart wants God.

All you have to do is invite Him into that sacred space. Yes, you may have questions, and for some of those questions, there may not be an immediate answer revealed to you. But take that simple first step of faith, and trust God enough to let Him come into your life with His love and saving plan even if you do not immediately have all the answers to the questions you are looking for.

Your heart wants God, and Jesus gave us this promise: “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” (Revelation 3:20).

Your heart wants God, and all you have to do is open the door and let Him in.  If you do, Jesus said, “I will come in to him.”  He loves you, and in your heart is where He wants to be.

Your heart wants God, and God wants your heart. Jesus said, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” (Matthew 22:37).

Even if you do not understand everything, the Bible encourages us to “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (Proverbs 3:5,6).

Today, with all sincerity of heart, look to God.  “Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.” (Lamentations 3:41).  “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.” (Isaiah 45:22).

Jesus is the only way you will ever find to get to God. He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).

Jesus is the only answer and plan for our spiritual healing. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” (John 3:16, 17).

Today, your heart can have what it genuinely wants.  Turn to God through Jesus Christ and be saved.  Let Him fill your heart as only He can. “For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.” (Psalm 33:21).

“When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.” Psalm 27:8

No Stale Salvation

No Stale Salvation - pagemodo pic

“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.  They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22, 23

We have no stale salvation.  God’s mercies are renewed in our lives daily.  Daily we experience the freshness of His grace.

Every day, when our eyes open, they open for us to walk in the newness of this life Jesus gave us (Romans 6:4).

Every day when we rise, we rise with freedom as our anthem for the day (Galatians 5:1).

Every day when our mouths open, they should open in praise (Isaiah 25:1) because our hearts should never be exhausted in worshipping the One who has blessed us with this life and that more abundantly (John 10:10).

Do not become stagnant regarding the awesomeness of what God has done for you.  Do not become so used to this great grace in such a way that you brush it off, toss it aside, or treat it in a lackadaisical manner.  Do not become so comfortable with His goodness that you no longer appreciate with wonder the extraordinary gift you have received.

This is no stale salvation.  God’s mercies are renewed over us daily, and daily we should recognize with awe and wonder the miraculous transformation God has made in our lives.

Never stop appreciating where God brought you from.  As He refreshes your soul daily, daily He ought to receive our honor, our praise, our thankfulness, our gratitude, our adoration, and our everything for the awesomeness He has worked in our lives!

Our salvation is the greatest thing we could ever receive.  Daily we are blessed to walk in it.  Do not neglect the freshness of this great treasure.

For, God gives us no stale salvation.  Jesus is our “well of water springing up into everlasting life” (John 4:14), always flowing over us and through us daily.  In Christ, we are never without the freshness of His life in us.  In Him, we are always satisfied and never thirst.  Nor shall we ever hunger for the Father fills us daily with that bread of life (John 6:35).

This is no stale salvation, and we ought not to treat it as such.  Do not neglect this great salvation (Hebrews 2:1-3).  Take great care in appreciating the fullness of all God does for you daily.

The Tragedy of Unbelief

the tragedy of unbelief 2

“So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.” Hebrews 3:19

Standing at the crosswalk, we are ready to go forward. All we are waiting for is the signal that gives us the all-clear, telling us it is safe to walk ahead. The choice is up to us to follow the directions of the signal or ignore it and place ourselves in harm’s way.

The Children of Israel had a chance to move forward into something great that God had in store for them. It was a land of promise. God had given them the all-clear. God said, “Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel…” (Numbers 13:2; emphasis added).

The promise was there, clearly spoken by God, that this is what He was doing for His people. He was giving them this land. No, if’s, and’s, or but’s about it. He didn’t send a delegation for debate. He sent them to see what was ahead for them. That was their signal to move forward.

There are promises galore written in the Holy Word of God. Promises of futures unimaginable. But, the sad reality for many is to come to the end of their life never obtaining those promises. Never understanding or knowing what it truly feels like to experience the riches of God’s grace.

Sadder still is not only coming to the end of one’s life having never experienced the greatness God has in store for His children – but, when one faces their eternity, they are told of that glorious place of promise, that they may not enter in.

Unbelief caused the children of Israel to forfeit their first attempted entrance into the Promised Land (Hebrews 3:7-11, 15-19). A land they looked forward to while they suffered under the bondage of slavery. A place of fulfillment their souls longed not only to see but to live in, and experience, and enjoy.

When they decided not to take hold of God’s promise for themselves, they decided to say no to His goodness until it was too late.

Today, many are walking opposite of the promise of God, and His name is Jesus. Jesus Christ is the greatest testimony of promise there ever is or was. He is the greatest gift of deliverance a soul could ever hope for and need. Yet, through unbelief, many say no, and walk away, being turned back into the wilderness to fight the elements alone and miss out on what could have been.

Walking away from an earthly promise is one thing. Truthfully, when the children of Israel found out what they had given up, they quickly wanted to change their minds (Numbers 14:40-45).

But can I tell you that walking away from an eternal promise is a tragedy far, far worse. Turn to Jesus today while there is still time. While the door is open, Jesus is inviting you to enter His rest both now and for all eternity. He says, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls” (Matthew 11:29). Today, your promise awaits. Jesus is signaling you to walk forward.
