Rising high at noonday
And now reflecting as the day parts,
I have to ask myself once again
Do I have anger in my heart?
Fury, resentment, bitterness and rage
Have to quiet themselves at the disappearing rays.
Blowing tempests, harmful thoughts,
Into captivity these rogue ways are caught.
Troubled emotion into oblivion must fade,
It’s to the Lord’s command you must obey.
It’s time for the storms of the mind to rest
With healing and newness to come at sunset.
Powerful Message and very True Wordforlifesays, holding onto bitterness and resentment is like mixing poison for the person who hurt us but drinking it ourselves, it eats us away all the goodness in us like Cancer does and we than find that, hurt people hurt people. We are to resolve our anger we don’t bury it so it grows roots and we than seek revenge.

“Newness to come at sunset” – that’s neat, for the day begins at sunset in Israel…not at sunrise. Now it makes sense. Thanks!
